Cocoa Bear! Makeup Geek look :)

Here’s a look I did, using a few of the new Makeup Geek eyeshadows. I called this makeup look Cocoa Bear, because it’s one of my favorites of the eyeshadows. 🙂 I used this colour on my lid. Isn’t it stunning? I think it’s a very special and rare colour! Hope you like the look 🙂

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow Insurance
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • Too Faced – Brow envy kit
  • Makeup Geek – Cocoa Bear eyeshadow
  • Makeup Geek – Mocha eyeshadow
  • Makeup Geek – Purely Naked eyeshadow
  • Makeup Geek – Corrupt eyeshadow
  • Makeup Geek – Shimma Shimma eyeshadow
  • L’Oreal – Volume million lashes mascara

How to:

  1. Apply a primer to your eye
  2. Place Cocoa Bear all over your lid and along your lower lash line
  3. Use Mocha as a crease colour and blend it out with Purely Naked
  4. Along your lower lash line, apply Mocha 1/3 of the way in from the outer corner
  5. Create an “outer v” with a small amount of Corrupt. Don’t pick up too much of the eyeshadow, because it’s very pigmented and we just want it to darken the outer corner a little bit, to give the look some depth.
  6. From the outer corner of the eye, bring Corrupt slightly in along your lower lash line
  7. Blend Mocha over the black “outer v” for a more soft effect
  8. Apply Shimma Shimma to the inner corner of your eye and on your brow bone, as a highlight
  9. Use a small pointed or angled brush to apply Corrupt close to your upper lash line. Wing it out and blend it a bit, to create more of a smokey look. Hehe, the colour is so black that it looks like a liquid liner. I’m not complaining 😉
  10. Fill in your lower water line with a white eye pencil
  11. Apply mascara and also false eyelashes if you want to
  12. And the look is complete! 🙂

You can see pictures of the eyeshadows I used, in the blog post below 😉

Colorful Winter Wonderland!

I created this look for a competition by Makeuptalk.com/Sugarpill Cosmetics. For the competition I had to create a look inspired by something that reminds me of a colorful winter wonderland! For me, the most beautiful thing I know about the winter months, is the sparkly, magical night sky, filled with gorgeous stars! 😀 That’s mainly what inspired me to do this look. The other thing is the imagination of Santa Claus crossing this winter sky, at night.

As you can see I used the colors red, black and white on my eyes, which represents Santa Claus. I aslo wanted the lips to match with that. To add some sparkle to the look I used glitter to create the stars. I thought that since the theme was a colorful winter wonderland, the stars could be in many different, Christmassy colors!

Products I used:

How to:

  1. Start off by applying a primer to your forhead
  2. Apply foundation over it
  3. Conceal any areas you feel like concealing
  4. Set the foundation with a powder
  5. Apply a primer to your lid and up to your brow.
  6. Cover the lid with a red eyeshadow and bring it a little bit higher up than your crease
  7. Cut the crease with a black colored eyeshadow
  8. From each side of the eye, create a soft line with a grey eyeshadow, up to the hairline. This is to outline where you want the black “sky” to go.
  9. Place stickers of stars in many different sizes in between these two grey lines.
  10. Follow the grey line on the outside of the eye, with a black eyeshadow and fill in the space where the stars are, with the same color.
  11. Use a grey eyeshadow to blend the black toward the inner part of the forhead, to create a smooth transition to the skin color.
  12. Remove the stickers and fill in the empty space with a white pencil liner, using a small, pointed brush.
  13. Apply a glitterbase over the white.
  14. Then, with a small, angled brush use loose glitter in different colors and apply it over the glitterbase. Now, you should have some beautiful, sparkly stars
  15. Apply a silver glitter liner close to your upper lash line and wing it out. Put some loose silver glitter on top of this line
  16. Create an even smaler line with a black liquid liner and wing it out twice, like it shows in the photo.
  17. In the little gap between the two black, winged out lines, apply a white base. Set this with a white eyeshadow.
  18. Fill in your upper – and lower waterline with a black eye pencil and set it with a black eyeshadow.
  19. Smudge some black along your lower lashline.
  20. Apply mascara and false lashes and your eyes are done
  21. Remove any glitter fallouts from your face with tape and makeup remover.
  22. Apply primer, foundation and powder to the rest of your face.
  23. Use a matte rosy pink blush and a matte highlight.
  24. Contour your face
  25. For the lips, you can start by outlining them with a red lip pencil and also fill them in with this pencil
  26. Apply a red lipstick in the same color as the lip pencil
  27. To make them look sharp and perfect, go over the edges of your lips, with a concealer.
  28. You’re done! 😀

The contest is up for one more day, so if you want to enter, go to www.makeuptalk.com. The prizes are some absolutely gorgeous Sugarpill makeup! 😉

Hope you liked my look! ^^

Rainbow Flower :D

Hi beauties! I just woke up one morning and had glitter on my mind! I wanted to jump into my makeup bag and play with all of my glitters. 😀 I wanted to use them all, so I thought “Why not use glitter in all of the rainbow’s colours?” 🙂

I wanted to do something different, so I turned my eye into a flower hehe!  I wasn’t planning to create the flower stalk, but I just thought the eyebrow above the flower looked a little wierd. The eyebrow fit perfect as a part of the stalk, so it worked out in the end. 🙂

Glitter Claw!

I love to put glitter everywhere! I just become so happy looking at beautiful glitter, hehe 😀 So with this look I went a little crazy with it! I had gone all weekend without creating a makeup look, because I use my boyfriend’s iphone4 camera to take pictures and he was on a trip with some friends. When he came home monday afternoon, I thought it was to dark outside to take pictures. But when the evening came, I just couldn’t keep my hands off of my makeup any longer. So I thought I could just try to fill in my eyebrows with glitter, just to see how it looked. I was happy about the result, so I continued doing my makeup and I ended up with this look. I used lamp light to take the pictures, so it turned out okay, even without the sunlight. 🙂

I guess that when you don’t plan to do a spesific look, but do what you feel like at the moment, it can turn out great. Don’t be afraid to go a little crazy and try something different! 😉

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow Insurance
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • NYX – Box of eyeshadows, 112 colors
  • NYX – Glitterati glittercream palette
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Summer Breeze
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Cool Blue
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Purple Velvet
  • L’Oreal – Super Liner
  • L’Oreal – Vollume million lashes mascara
  • False eyelashes from ebay.
  • No Logo – 15 Color Ultra Shimmer Cool Eyeshadow Palette

How to:

  1. Start with your eyebrows, so that you can wash off glitter fallouts, before you do your eyes.
  2. Fill in the eyebrows with a blue eyeshadow at the inner part and a purple one at the outer part. (This I do, so that if some parts don’t get covered with glitter, it will still look compound.)
  3. Apply a glitterbase all over your eyebrows. I used blue glitter cream from NYX at the inner part and purple glitter cream at the outer part.
  4. Take light blue loose glitter and apply it at the inner part of your eyebrow. Towards the middle, you can apply darker blue glitter.
  5. Then, apply purple loose glitter at the end of the eyebrow. Be very careful while applying the loose glitter and take your time, to make the shape exactly how you want it.
  6. To get rid of the fallouts, use tape and q-tips with makeup remover.
  7. Apply a primer to your lid and all the way up to your eyebrows. Also apply some under your eye.
  8. Use a piece of tape from the outer corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow.
  9. Apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk to your lid.
  10. Cut your crease with a purple colour and go a little bit further up with it. Blend this colour out with a lighter purple eyeshadow.
  11. Use a matte highlight below your eyebrows and blend this colour in with the light purple.
  12. Also apply a highlight to the inner corner of your eye.
  13. Use a liquid liner and create a black line close to your upper lash line, and wing it out.
  14. Remove the tape.
  15. Then, using the same method as with the eyebrows, you can put glitter underneath your eyes. Create a shape that makes these two lines of glitter, look like a claw.
  16. Use a white eye pencil on your waterline and set it with white eyeshadow.
  17. Put on mascara and false lashes, and the look is complete. 😀

Purple and blue glitter makeup

Teal and lime :)

I think teal and lime make a gorgeous combination. That’s why I did this cut – crease look, using those colours. I found a cute little heart shaped sticker in the same colours, and thought I’d add it to the look. 🙂 I used NYX JEP in Milk on my waterline and covered it with a bright purple eyeshadow, to create a purple lower waterline.

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow Insurance
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • NYX – Box of eyeshadows, 112 colours
  • Mac – Mineral Skinfinish, Semi Precious in Pearl
  • L’Oreal – Super Liner
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Black Bean

I hope you enjoyed the look 🙂

  • NYX – Jumbo ey pencil in Black Bean
  • Nouba Quattro – 626 palette

My pink heart <3

I really wanted to do a cute look with bright colours. And what’s cuter than small pink hearts? 🙂 First I drew the hearts by hand. They looked good but not perfect, so I thought I could use some of my stickers to fix that problem 😀 (Yes, I collected stickers when I was younger. ) 😉

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow Insurance
  • Dii – Pink lipstick
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Yellow
  • NYX – Box of eyeshadows, 112 colours
  • H&M – Liquid liner
  • L’Oreal – Vollume million lashes mascara

How to:

  1. Apply a primer
  2. Apply NYX Jumbo eye pencil in milk (or an other white base), all over your lid.
  3. Place tiny heart shaped stickers on your lid, where you think it will look good.
  4. Put on a matte yellow eyeshadow all over the lid and over the stickers. Place the colour a little bit higher than you crease.
  5. Create an “outer v” with a lime green eyeshadow, and blend it in with the yellow.
  6. Carefully remove the stickers.
  7. Fill in the heart shaped places with a pink lipstick. Use a small synthetic brush for this.
  8. Set the lipstick with a bright pink eyeshadow.
  9. Highlight the inner corner of your eye with a light yellow, shimmery colour.
  10. Place the lime green eyeshadow on your lower lash line and blend it in with the light yellow colour, to get a smooth transition.
  11. Use a yellow cream pencil and apply it to your waterline. Set it with a yellow eyeshadow.
  12. Apply a black liquid liner close to your upper lash line and wing it out.
  13. Then, just apply your favorite mascara and you’re done 😀

Glitterfun!

I can never get enough of glitter! So I did a cut crease with glitter and also put glitter on the lid. I chose to use the colours gold and silver, and came up with this look:

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow insurance
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • NYX – Glitterati glittercream palette
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Disco Ball
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Glam Gold
  • Too Faced – Naked eye kit
  • Nouba Quattro – 626 palette
  • H&M – Liquid eyeliner
  • Dior – Diorshow mascara

Hope you liked my glittery look 🙂

Red Hearts <3

I wanted to use my beautiful matte red eyeshadow and I thought it would look great with a matte black colour. And of course, I always need glitter, so I did a silvery glitter liner! Then I just went crazy with the eyebrows and applied a lot of small, cute, red hearts 🙂

Products I used:

  • Too Faced – Shadow Insurance
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
  • NYX – Jumbo eye pencil in Black Bean
  • NYX – Box of eyeshadows, 112 colours
  • Viva la Diva – Glitter eyeliner in Silver
  • NYX – Glitter on the go in Disco Ball
  • L’Oreal – Vollume million lashes mascara
  • La Splash – Glitter splash in Crimson hearts
  • Mac – Mineralize skinfinish, Semi Precious in Pearl
  • H&M – Liquid liner

How to:

  1. Apply a primer
  2. Place a piece of tape from the outer corner of your eye and up to the tip of your eyebrow.
  3. Cut your crease with a matte black colour and blend the colour upwards.
  4. Remove the tape.
  5. In the outer corner of the eye, connect the black with your lower lash line and apply the same black eyeshadow along the lash line and bring it to the inner corner of your eye. There you can wing it out and then connect it with the black in the crease.
  6. Apply NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk on your lid to make the red really pop.
  7. Cover it with the matte red.
  8. Put on a silvery glitter liner along your upper lash line and wing it out in the outer corner. Follow the sharp shape that the tape made.
  9. To make the line more vibrant, apply loose glitter in silver over the glitter liner.
  10. Apply a thin line of black liquid liner closest to your upper lash line, and over the glitter liner. Wing this line out as well.
  11. With a black eye pencil, apply black onto your upper – and lower waterline, and set it with a black eyeshadow.
  12. Put on your favourite mascara. And also fake lashes, if you want to.
  13. Underneath the eyebrow, place a shimmery highlight.
  14. Fill in your eyebrows with the same matte red colour you used on the lid. So if some parts doesn’t get covered with hearts, it will still look compound.
  15. Use a lash glue and apply a few small dots at the beginning, where you want your hearts. Apply the hearts when the glue gets a little sticky. Put on just a little glue at the time, and work your way accross the eyebrow.
  16. Now, you’re all done 😀

Hope you liked the look!

  5. Apply a copper coloured eyeshadow on the lid and bring it all the way out to where the tape is.
